Favorite Things

2

Occasionally I like to wax poetic about a TV show, analyze whether the Lord of Rings books or movies are better, or get nostalgic about the 90’s music scene. Movies, theater, every genre of music, art, dance, design – I embrace it all! Highbrow, lowbrow…and no-brow (I liked The Girl With Dragon Tattoo movie much better than the book, for the record!)

It’s interesting to figure out what makes art good, or not so good. But I’ll probably mostly just go on about beloved things, in hopes that someone else loves them, too.

Telling a dear friend about my latest favorite book. Okay, not really. What we are really doing is pretending we are in a college brochure photo. What I’m realizing now is that most college brochures aren’t advertising to pregnant ladies.

This is the doofus that Allie McBeal can’t get over, for some reason. Allie McBeal is a ridiculous show that I will never recommend, by the way.

That wasn’t actually a favorite work of art! ;D

I just remember us being like, “um, this counts as art?” and taking that picture as a joke…if it’s not clear that I’m joking about it being your favorite work of art, maybe I should change that caption, lol.
