First. Post. Ever.

2

September 21, 2012 by Julia

I have been SUPER excited about this whole blog thing. Probably too excited. Obsessive is probably more accurate.

I just love so many things that are associated with blogging:

1. Deep Thoughts

2. Navel-Gazing

3. Everyday Life Epiphanies

4. Funny Stories

5. Writing, writing, writing

6. Using your own life as material enriches your daily experiences, I think. I love that moment when you realize, I’m gonna need to write about this later.

7. Memory-keeping

8. Trying to capture the moment in photos and words.

9. The fact that I am no longer just writing into a vacuum.

10. I feel like there needs to be ten things on this list. Um…the tenth thing is this: I believeĀ having a creative project all my own, while in the middle of parenting young children, will be good for my soul.

Yeah!

All such great reasons to start writing! Welcome to the awesome blogging community. I’ve been to several conferences and have plenty of books I’d be happy to lend you. Congrats!
